You can attach your DSLR camera, binoculars or small scope directly to any mount with a Vixen type saddle (Vixen GP, Celestron CG5, Skywatcher EQ5, HEQ5, AZ-EQ6GT etc) or a Vixen type clamp.

The Deluxe Photo Dovetail has an elongated slot, to facilitate positioning, and is very solid and versatile.

Deluxe Vixen Style Photo Dovetail Kit

This solid mini dovetail allows you to attach instruments such as spotting scopes, cameras with telephoto lenses or telescopes to mounts with Vixen style saddles or clamps.

Versatile attachment possibilities

For example, you can attach two tube rings closely together.

Or connect compact telescopes via a universal mounting plate with more than one screw. This increases stability significantly.

The dovetail bar also fits Vixen style clamps, so with their use it can be attached to photo tripods and tilting heads.
